Traditional hunter type with great experience and a wonderful attitude. Encore is a good mover with a scopey jump and a proven record of competing well for junior and amateur riders.

Encore is very kind and eager to please. He has a ton of step, easy changes, and the scope to jump from any distance. He is incredibly patient with rider errors and was a confident and forgiving partner for his young rider to move up with. He has lots of great miles and impressive results in the Childrens, including a 2nd of 23 at Merrill Lynch; 2nd, 3rd & 4th of 29 at Country Heir, he won the NAL Classic out of 12 at Showplace Cleveland, placed 3rd of 18 at Upperville and was 2nd & 3rd of 33 in Ocala, in addition to several Champions and Reserves throughout his career. He also placed 1st, 1st & 2nd out of 15 in the Pregreens at Merrill Lynch in 2004. Moving up to the Juniors in 2007 Encore consistently placed in the Top 10 in classes of 20 or more horses with a win at Showplace in June. He also has good ribbons in the WIHS and Show Circuit Medals.

Encore is a classic hunter type well-suited for the Junior or Amateur with goals of moving up. He is a lovely mover with a big flat canter and an easy rhythm to maintain. He has no spook and is all around well-mannered and reliable. A true gentleman and a pleasure to have in any show barn.
